Thailand Board of Investment (BOI)

JLF Associates Ltd. serves as the in-house consultant to the BOI. In this capacity, JLF works with senior BOI officials to develop high-quality English-language promotional material, including speeches, presentations, press releases and a wide range of publications. The company publishes a monthly newsletter, Thailand Investment Review, as well as the annual Costs of Doing Business in Thailand, Guide to the Board of Investment, and Business Guide to Thailand publications.

In addition, the JLF team works with the Investment Services Center to update the BOI website with information relating to the investment climate in Thailand and assists with translation of pages into multiple languages.

Thailand Office of Industrial Economics

JLF Associates Ltd. assists the Office of Industrial Economics, Ministry of Industry, by providing editorial services on a wide range of documents, both internal and external, and translated documents, such as monthly and annual reports, for the OIE website.

Dow Chemical (Thailand)

JLF provides corporate communications support to the companies of Dow in Thailand. Responsibilities include a wide range of editorial activities, including preparation of speeches, writing or editing of internal and external communications, and production of Dow in Thailand’s Public Report in both English and Thai.

In addition, JLF provides editorial support for Dow's Southeast Asia and Australasia government affairs office in Bangkok.

Tractus Asia

JLF Associates Ltd. has collaborated with Tractus on a variety of projects, including advising Tractus on government-liaison issues and collaboration on research projects for private-sector clients. In addition, JLF assisted Tractus in development of a logo and worked with management on corporate brochures and presentations.

Hemaraj Land and Development, Public Company Limited

JLF Associates Ltd. works with the corporate marketing department of Thailand's leading developer of industrial estates, utilities, property and customer solutions to draft and edit a quarterly newsletter.

Volclay Siam

JLF Associates Ltd. has assisted Volclay Siam, a subsidiary of American Colloid, with applications for investment promotion privileges and has conducted market research for the company.

JETRO (Thailand)

JLF Associates Ltd. has served as an editor for JETRO's Bangkok Business Centre, editing numerous documents on a variety of topics.

APCO WorldWide

JLF Associates Ltd.'s editors provide ongoing editorial support for the Bangkok office of APCO Worldwide.

Past Projects

Thailand Department of Trade Negotiations

JLF Associates Ltd. supported the communications efforts of the Department of Trade Negotiations, Ministry of Commerce. JLF was involved in editing a wide range of documents, preparation of speeches and talking points, and translating key documents for the DTN website.

Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs

JLF Associates Ltd. worked closely with the Department of International Economics to draft and publish the 2006 edition of a Business Handbook for Royal Thai Embassies and Consulate Generals.

TRIS Rating

For more than five years, JLF Associates Ltd. provided English-language editing services to Thai Rating and Information Services (TRIS), Thailand's first credit rating agency.

Other Experience

JLF draws on a diverse array of experiences to assist its clients. Principals, directors and staff of JLF have worked on public sector projects with the APEC Secretariat, the Thailand Department of Export Promotion (DEP), the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI), ASEAN Center in Japan, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the United Nations ESCAP in Bangkok.
